An itinerary in the most significant places in Sicilian history from the Hellenic civilization to today.

Tour 6 days – 5 nights

 1st day Castellammare del Golfo

Arrival at the destination airport (Trapani/Palermo) and transfer to the hotel. Walk in the historic center of Castellammare. Dinner in a typical restaurant and overnight stay.

2nd day Segesta – Erice

Visit to the archaeological park of Segesta. Walk in Erice, a small fortified village with a medieval appearance and tasting of almond sweets. I'm going back to the hotel.

3rd day Mozia – Saline – Marsala

Guided tour of the island of Mozia with the most interesting Sicilian Phoenician remains, in the scenery of the Saline. Lunch in a restaurant to taste the fish couscous. In Marsala, guided tour of a historic cellar with wine tasting. I'm going back to the hotel.

4th day Monreale – Palermo

Visit to the Cathedral of Monreale with the gold mosaics with the centrality of Christ Pantocrator. Palermo: the Arab-Norman route with the Cathedral, the Ballarò Arab Market with street food tastings. I'm going back to the hotel. 

5th day Selinunte and Gibellina 

In Selinunte visit the largest archaeological park in the Mediterranean. We will continue with a visit to the ruins of Gibellina with the Grande Cretto, one of the largest environmental works of art in Europe, created by the artist Alberto Burri. I'm going back to the hotel.

6th day Scopello

Visit to the monumental complex of the Tonnara di Scopello, testimony to the tradition of tuna fishing. Transfer to the departure airport (Trapani/Palermo)
