An itinerary in Western Sicily through the Religious Sense of man: Greek mythology, Islamic civilisation, the places of Christianity, the traditions of work.

Program

1st day Castellammare del Golfo

Arrival at the destination airport (Trapani/Palermo) and transfer to the hotel. Walk in the historic center of Castellammare. 

2nd day: Segesta - Erice- Saline di Trapani

Visit to the archaeological park of Segesta, an ancient city of Elima. Walk in Erice, a small fortified village with a medieval appearance and tasting of almond sweets. Continue to Trapani and visit the Saline di Nubia (WWF Oasis) and the Salt Museum. 

3rd day:  Palermo – Monreale

Visit to Palermo: the Arab-Norman route, from the Cathedral to the Ballarò Arab Market with street food tastings. Visit of the Cathedral of  Monreale with the gold mosaics with the centrality of Christ Pantocrator "He who contains everything". 

4th day Scopello

Visit to the monumental complex of the Tonnara di Scopello, testimony to the tradition of tuna fishing. We continue with a walk in the small village of Scopello, a typical "Baglio Siciliano" from the Bourbon era.

Transfer to the departure airport (Trapani/Palermo)
