A journey through the Religious Sense of man with his desire for Beauty and Infinity: from Greek mythology, passing through Islamic civilization, up to the places of Christianity. 

Program

 1st day: Segesta – Erice – Trapani salt pans

Arrival at the destination airport (Trapani/Palermo)
Visit the ancient Elymian city of Segesta with the majestic Doric Temple, the Agora and the Amphitheatre.
Transfer to Erice and walk through the characteristic streets of the medieval village.
Visit to the salt pans of Trapani with the Salt Museum, located inside a restored windmill. 

2nd day:  Zingaro Nature Reserve –  Cinisi

Walk inside the Zingaro Nature Reserve, one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Sicily. Visit to the naturalistic museum. We will continue for Cinisi for the visit to the “Felicia and Peppino Impastato Memorial House”. The visit is divided into the "Hundred Steps" route.

3rd day:  Selinunte –  Cretto di Burri

Visit to Selinunte, the largest archaeological park in Europe, where the meeting between Greek and Phoenician-Punic culture is documented. We continue to Gibellina to admire the Grande Cretto, one of the largest environmental works of art in Europe, created by the artist Alberto Burri after the devastation of the 1968 earthquake.  In this place, art is not an end in itself but it becomes an instrument of memory.

4th day:  Palermo – Monreale

Guided tour of Palermo: The Arab-Norman route with the Palatine Chapel, the Cathedral and the blessed Father Pino Puglisi. The Ballarò Arab Market with street food tastings.               The Cathedral of Monreale with its gold mosaics and the centrality of Christ Pantocrator.    Transfer to the departure airport (Trapani/Palermo)
